What wonder to discover a whole ceiling full of rainbow umbrellas surrounded by dripping icicle lights! All of the little ones around could not stop staring in disbelief!
This reminds me that the wonder of the holidays does not have to surround Christmas specifically — Santa, flying reindeer, candy canes, Christmas trees and presents are all part of the popular lore and legend, but the wonder and magic of the holidays is something bigger than that by far. It stems from our creativity and our drive to bring joy and wonder to one another.
This, I believe, is one of the ways that we can share that sacred spark that makes us Human — we can use our creativity to lift one another up and make one another smile. Put what you’re good at to good use this year and go out of your way to make someone smile!
