This is a painting that I made of a white face cow and her calf a couple of years back. The medium is acrylic on canvas. This painting was a gifted to my mother and father, who got to know their neighbor’s cow and named her “Old’ White Face” — she was very friendly and was definitely the boss of the herd. When apples were offered, she made sure that she got first choice.
A few months ago, Ol’ White Face, her calf and the rest of the herd were loaded on a truck and departed for a destination unknown. I sincerely hope they ended up at some other, greener pasture. Here’s to your memory and spunky personality, Ol’ White Face!
